Our Approach

Our nine-month Leadership Internship Program (August–May) equips Christian young adults to grow spiritually, develop leadership skills, and prepare for college, careers, and lifelong service. Through biblical teaching, mentorship, and hands-on experiences, interns emerge ready to lead with integrity and vision.

Outcomes

By the end of the program, interns are:

key program pillars

  • Spiritual Formation

    Daily devotionals, leading Bible studies, worship facilitation, and learning to abide in Christ as the foundation of leadership.

  • Leadership Training

    Practical workshops and mentoring in communication, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and servant leadership.

  • Career Development

    Exposure to professionals across fields, résumé building, mock interviews, and exploring the link between calling and career.

  • community service

    A mid-year project, fully planned and led by interns, putting servant leadership into action locally.

  • Mentorship & Growth

    Bi-monthly mentor meetings provide consistent guidance, accountability, and encouragement.

  • capstone experiences

    Launch with a team-building retreat; conclude with a mission trip and leadership commissioning celebration.

SELECTION PROCESS

Beginning in September, we will start the process of hiring for the coming Gap Year, which begins the following August. We will hire 6 participants for our program. Prior Hidden Falls Ranch experience is not required to be considered for the program.

COMPENSATION

The Gap Year participants receive a monthly stipend while in the program. On-site housing and some food is also provided.
